Farewell 2007 Welcome 2008

Monday 31 December 2007 @ 9:21 pm

Here’s to the outgoing year, 2007:
May the good times live on in our memories,
and may we learn lessons from the troubling times
that will make us stronger and better than ever.

Here’s to 2008:
For each and every one of you,
may it be filled with significant steps
toward the fulfillment of your fondest wishes.
May it bring more joy and success
And less grief and regret
.

Traveling Without The Family?

Saturday 29 December 2007 @ 11:00 am

Would you do it? If it was not an official or business trip, would you leave your kids behind with your other half and go off on a vacation with your friends?

I love traveling but do not have much chance to travel far in my younger days due to financial reason. Now that things are financially more stable for me, I am beginning to get the itchy feet but feel guilty for even considering going off on a vacation without the family. Don’t get me wrong, I love going for holidays with my family. It is the icing on the cake. However, to bring the whole family along, the expenses is high and we are not able to travel far. On the other hand, if I were to travel with friends, the expenses will be for one pax only.

Anyway, at this point of time, I believe I cannot find it in my heart to leave my family for a vacation with friends *sigh*. Have you guys done it before and what’s your take on this?

Choosing The Right Webhost

Wednesday 19 December 2007 @ 9:44 pm

Choosing the right webhost is just like shopping for your purchases, especially those items that you know will last you a couple of years. This is because you want to have the best deal and the best service from the seller and signing up with a webhost is no different. So, some research does help with the task of searching for a good webhost.

For those who are new to webhosting, Web Hosting Choice or http://www.webhostingchoice.com will be useful to you as this site is an advertisement free guide to choosing the right web host for your personal or business site. With its searchable directory, you can easily find web hosting plans suitable for your needs.

Check out the learning centre on this resourceful site so that you will be more aware of what to look for before you sign up with a webhost. Believe me, you will thank me for the tip later.

I’m Back!

Wednesday 19 December 2007 @ 7:54 pm

I’m finally back from my short vacation and many of you probably noticed that I have somewhat neglected this blog. I’ve just realized that it is not so easy to wear so many hats while keeping up with my usual blogging momentum.

Anyway, I hope to be able to get back on track soon after this very wonderful break.
