All I can say is that Thank Goodness I did not curl my hair. Firstly, I’ve been told that I looked OLD when I curl my hair. Secondly, if I did that during CNY, I’ll probably have to pay a huge sum to get them straightened back since straight hair is the trend now.
Here’s the latest on straight fringe:
The straight fringe can be a nice alternative for a simple look that still looks good. A fringe is another term for bangs and the straight fringe is as simple as you can get with the fringe coming straight down just over the eyebrows. The look goes great with straight hair or hair with some light waves. The straight fringe can fall straight down or be curled up a little to give a look with more volume. The most useful part of a straight fringe is the nice frame it creates for the facial area. The straight fringe gives the appearance of a more narrow face and even proportions, a great option for many facial shapes.
This is the pic of Jessica Alba’s latest hair style, straight fringe with straight hair, which I think looks gorgeous on her:

I am a person who have dry skin because I never bothered to mosturize until I I was in my mid 20’s. So, I’m sharing with you some info I’ve read…
Here are some reasons that causes dry skin:
How to treat Dry Skin?
A hair transplant is a surgical procedure which transfers a patient’s own hairs from a donor area to areas of the scalp that are undergoing hair loss or thinning. That means, you can cover up that bald spot with your own hair. Isn’t that a great option?
Nowadays, there are several different hair transplant techniques and results may vary with technique used. However, some of the best results obtained today use the technique of follicular unit grafting. A follicular unit is the term used to describe the natural groupings of one, two, three and occasionally four hairs. As this is how hair grows naturally in the scalp, follicular unit grafting often provides the most natural results.
Frankly for some people, loosing that bald spot may take years off their age and boost their confidence. If you are having the same dilemma, do click on the above link for more information.
It is obvious that PROM DRESSES are one of the most important items in any girls prom plans. I remembered during my school days, prom dresses were not as beautiful and elegant as what we have now.
Here’s a look at the some of the latest styles for 2007 prom dresses:
Don’t you agree that the above dresses just look so glamorous? Everyone wants to look their best in prom and what matters most is the dress should suit you right, accentuates your curves, and brings out the best in you. Sometimes, it can be a hassle searching for THE dress for you but I can recommend one great site called TalkPromDresses.com which will be able to help. Whether you want what’s best, cheapest or what is the most trendy and designer, there will be a dress to fit your imagination and budget.
Whether it is a bad habit or an overplucking error, many of us have been guilty of abusing our eyebrows one time or another. However, to most women, we consider it a horror story!
How To Fill In Eye Brow Bald Spots?
Use a very sharp brow pencil in a colour closer to the darker side of your brow. Aplly in quick strokes instead of drawing a line.
Lightly apply strokes of a softer shade of brow powder to stimulate hair Set with eyebrow gel.
During the regrowth process, women are advised to shy away from having hair pulled back or any severe hairstyle that emphasizes your forehead. Long and shaggy fringe are a great way to distract attention from eyebrow bald spots.
Maintaining Your Manicure
Always treat your nails as if you’ve just had them polished. Instead of using your nails for the daily exercise of scraping, picking, pulling and opening, use the pads of your fingertips. Along with preventing splitting, chipping and breaking, this will make your hands look more elegant.
When cleaning the house and doing the dishes, be sure to wear gloves; prolonged exposure to water can cause nail damage because it will dry out your skin and nails. Tips to prevent nail polish chipping: reapply the top coat regularly, even daily, and try to avoid using fast-drying polishes that don’t last as long as regular nail polishes
Healthy Nails Now
The best way to make sure your nails are healthy is to moisturize them daily, and care for your cuticles. The cuticle is the nail’s protection between the exposed dead part of the nail and the matrix, where new cells are generated. Removing the cuticle destroys the nail matrix, which is essential to healthy nail growth. On the other hand, you do want to keep cuticles from becoming overgrown, which suffocates nail growth. The solution: Liberally apply a cuticle remover (not cuticle oil or cuticle cream), which will make the cuticle more pliable. Then, take an orangewood stick and anywhere the cuticle skin touches the nail plate, push it back using tiny circular movements. Hold the stick at an angle so that you do this gradually and gently, without going inside the cuticle. Use a moisturizer daily to prevent dryness
Great tips, right? Well, I know what to do but I’m still a lazy person who seldom tweeze my eyebrows till they look like bushes. Lol
These are tips I received when I attended a grooming course while I was working with a bank a couple of years ago…
Skin have warm undertones or cool undertones and based on this, you will know whether you are best suited in warm colours or cool colours. Warm skin tones have yellowish undertones while cool skin tones have blue undertones.
This is how we tested our suitability:
Wear a white shirt and the test will require a peach scarf and a blue scarf. Hold the peach scarf against your face and look at yourself in the mirror. Then, do the same for the blue scarf. Do you look better with the peach scarf or blue scarf? If peach suits you better, you have warm skin tones. However, if blue looks better on you, it means you have cool skin tones.
If you have warm skin tones, you will look good in earth tones colour such as peach and gold. Those with cool skin tones will look great in black, blue and any colours that has a bluish tinge
To Conceal a Tummy
You already know how to cleanse, moisturize and wear sunblock every day. Here are other secrets to turning back the hands of time.
FACE
1 bring back the youthful glow
When skin starts to look dull or sallow, a quick fix is to add a serum to your daily routine. These lightweight fluids (or oils) are super-concentrated and are absorbed quickly, which means you get a blast of antiaging benefits. In the morning, you can use it under makeup. At night, apply it before your regular moisturizer to help it penetrate more deeply and give skin a double dose of good-for-you ingredients.
MOUTH
2 lock on to luscious lips
Does your lipstick start to feather an hour after you put it on? As we age, our lips get thinner and drier, their shape is less defined and the fine lines around them are much more noticeable, particularly if you are or were a smoker. To help lips stay full and kissable, use a lip moisturizer with peptides, which help plump and improve definition.
HANDS
3 help for hands
With so much focus on the face and neck, hands often get short shrift. But that’s a mistake—hands show our age, too. Slather on a hand cream that contains hydroquinone, an FDA-approved lightener for brown spots and freckles.
