Has anyone downloaded WordPress 2.2 yet? I know it’s out with many awesome features and some of which I am dieing to have.

However, I dare not upgrade yet as I read from John Chow’s blog (the dot com mogul) who upgraded and realized that the alignment on his template was out due to bugs. After that, he switched back to the older WP version. Being totally lost about tech stuff, I’d better not take the risk

I changed it again because I hated the colour on the last one. I’m still experimenting with the header to find the best suitable one. At least now, I can give myself a pat on the back for being able to make changes to this blog. If I don’t praise myself, who else will motivate me, right?

Last night, I did some blog hopping and stumbled on 5xMom’s Women Only blog. Gosh, I was quite taken by surprise. Firstly, she is using the same template as this blog but so are everyone else who signed up with the same webhost. What caught me off guard was the fact that her blog also focuses on beauty, fashion, etc.

I always visit 5xMom‘s blog but this was my first time to this blog of hers. Being the celebrity that she is, I am a bit concerned that people might say that I have copy cat her blog. Afterall, I’m just a small time blogger and she is the famous one. Honestly, I did not intend to have such similarity in terms of blog presentation and topics. I confessed that 5xMom is an inspiration to many and I started doing paid posting due to her very positive feedback through her articles on her blog. So, how could I even consider copying her work?

Anyway, now that I have put this down in writing, I feel much better. Until I managed to conquer CSS editing, my blog presentation shall remain as it is. What can a tech idiot do? *Sigh*

Ok, I confessed, I lurk John Chow’s blog. That was how I stumbled upon his linkbait project and the very reason I am doing his blog review for FREE.

John Chow dot Com is a blog which offers many tips on how to make money online. I find many of his posts very informative and helpful to a tech idiot like me. Apart from money making articles, he also blogs about cars and his family which can be quite refreshing as compared to other similar sites.

Goodness gracious, I almost had a heart attack just now. After I posted the post before this one, my sidebar disappeared and so did all my other posts!!!

After reading 5xMom’s sites being hacked, I panicked and emailed her and my webhost asking them for advice. Luckily, I rechecked and managed to view my other posts via the search button on the top left hand corner of the blog template. Phew!

So, I think it must be the widget that I installed for the poll that should take the blame for all my hoo ha. *wipes away cold sweat* I wish I had asked for some tips from Chris before I installed that one. Hai…. 

Each time I uploaded a photo on this blog, it seems to be in thumbnail size. I did not have this problem with my old WP blog previously and I dunno why this is happening.

I tried using the same photo on blogspot and there’s no problem enlarging them. So, it’s not the size of the photo that’s the problem. Initially, I thought it was because photos taken by my 2MP handphone camera resulted in the thumbnail size.

Anybody has any idea how to fix that issue? Appreciate some help here, terimaaaaa kasiiiiii!
