I was sent a 120ml bottle and a few sachets of Skin MD Natural shielding lotion all the way from Beverly Hills, California for this product review. One of the main reason I agreed to do this review is because I wanted to see whether this lotion helps with my eczema. Anyway, I have tried it out for 10 days and you can read about the product and my review below:

Skin MD Natural is not just any lotion. It is actually a shielding lotion, which means when used, it forms a protective barrier on the skin and keeps out irritants and chemicals. It also allows the natural oils and moisture to remain in the skin so it can heal better. That’s the secret to resolving dry skin. Having enough moisture is not enough but what is required is to also have that moisture located where it can actually resolve a dry skin condition.

Skin MD Natural’s ingredients includes Purified Water (Aqua), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract (Aloe Vera), Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Methyl Gluceth-20,Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Arnica Montana Flower Extract (Arnica), Symphytum Officinale Leaf Extract (Comfrey), Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Extract (Chamomile), Achillea Millefolium Extract (Yarrow), Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, 1,2 Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Aminomethyl Propanol and Phenoxyethanol.

When I first tried using the lotion, I noticed that it was smooth and glides easily on my skin. What I liked about it is the fact that it is fragrance free and non greasy due to its water based. After 10 days usage, my elbows, where I used to have redness and flaky skin appeared less dry. I must admit there is still some redness and itch due to my ezcema but the reduced redness is very encouraging. I will continue to use Skin MD Natural to see whether long term use will help control my eczema.
