Many of my readers will know that I am a fan of IT bags. Hence, I am always on the lookout for unique, stylish but practical designer bags.

I stumbled upon  Armani Blog’s write up on the above Convertible Bag. At first glance, I must honestly say I was not attracted by its design at all, even though I have a fondness for bags in the shade of black.

So, I am sure you must be wondering why I am posting about this bag. Well, first of all, this simple looking geomatric carry-all was created by Designer Alison Antrobus. So, it qualifies as an IT bag. However, what caught my attention was the fact that this bag can amazingly be interchanged into three different bags!

What looked like a typical black leather handbag actually has two handy drawers which can be opened up from the bottom of the bag (you can view the drawers from the above pic). Hate it? I know I’m not fond of drawers in bags either. Lol. Here comes the good part. The drawers can be removed and what is left is a smaller shoulder bag. I know, I know, you’re beginning to love the bag now. That’s not all. The outside of this Convertible Bag is removable as well. This final transformation turns the bag into a folded clutch, a great alternative to evening bags.  The clutch comes in a variety of colors which allows you to change the look of your bag so you do not get bored with it.

So, are you considering to purchase one now? With a price tag of $1250, I know some people will jump at the chance because it is a designer bag after all. As for me, let’s just say I am still considering.
